This weekend, we were at it once again as the Rochester DJ and wedding entertainment vendor of choice for Mark and Angela D’Amico. We were at the same venue as our last wedding post, but in a different part of the venue. This wedding was one of the books and one we won’t forget for a very long time. Why? Well, this wedding was one of the largest ones we’ve done in awhile with 260+ guests in attendance. It originally started out with a guest list of about 150-180, but quickly rose up to the 260-ish number. Having that many people in the room pretty much guarantees you’re in for a really fun party. The other reason is we had the honor of playing side by side with a band during open dancing. They opened the night and played for a couple of hours while we ended things and brought the party vibe. We don’t often get the rock a reception with bands so this was an amazing time and it gave guests 2 completely different styles of entertainment. The bride and groom ALSO had a lounge band playing in the area where the cocktail hour was, which further enhanced the vibe for the night.
