This weekend, we were at it once again as the Rochester DJ and event entertainment of choice for Yvette’s Super Sweet 16 Birthday Party! We were booked by this family because we were the DJ at a Rochester wedding last summer, where the mother of the Birthday girl was one of the Bridesmaids. THIS WEDDING was surprisingly at the Rochester Yacht Club, which was right across from where this Birthday party was. So both events were waterfront style parties. The venue is one we have played at many times before and have some upcoming weddings there later this year. The Birthday celebration was a great night, there was a TON of energy, kids and adults both really had a great time and we couldn’t have had a more amazing event to celebrate one young woman turning 16 years old. The Birthday girl is an old soul, and loves a lot of older music, especially Queen. So we had a great time playing both old and newer music that catered to not just the Birthday girl, but to all of the adults as well. We do A LOT of Sweet 16 parties, and young adult events in general every year such as Birthdays, Graduation Parties, School Dances, and so on. These type of events are very unique and you MUST be an experience DJ that knows modern music, how to keep kids on the dance floor, having fun, and most important…keep their attention focused on the event.
